This year is almost over. I find that extremely hard to comprehend. The school year is nearly half gone. Babies are growing up too fast.
All your childhood, you hear that years fly by as you get older. I've found that to be true. But it worries me a bit.
If years are going this fast now and I am not even 30, how will I get anything accomplished in a year when I am in my 50's and beyond?

Yeah, that concept always makes me think that must be how those really old people in the Bible made it through their lives without losing their sanity.
Methuselah would say, "Boy did that last century sure fly by. Seems only yesterday my son was a young 75; look at him now!"
I know. He was always like, "You youngin's have it easy. When I was a kid we still had to wrangle the last few dragons. Now that was work. You've got it easy with your woolly mammoths. And if you think a sabertooth tiger is dangerous, try fighting off a T-Rex single-handed. Now that's something that'll keep you up at night."
It was annoying. And hunting sabertooth tigers and woolly mammoths was dangerous. Not like kids these days with their deer and their rifles. Deer don't fight back (except that one time.)
