It is summer now. Last year, I had several things to do right when school ended. I also had a long trip that happened unexpectedly.
This summer is feeling more "blank canvas-y" than last. Davy's birthday is next week. I will go home and see my family at some point, and go to Bella Vista to see Bryan.
Other than that, the summer seems wide open.
Truth be told...I don't really like that feeling as much as I used to.

Wish I could be so used to summer vacations that the feeling had worn off. :) I don't get long breaks anymore.
Its not that the feeling has worn off. Its that the feeling it used to give me (freedom, happiness, adventure) has given way to more melancholy feelings of restlessness, uselessness and aimlessness.
I do not know if it is due to getting older, or something else changing in my psyche.
